The Challenge
Canadian Women & Sport (CWS) needed a website that truly reflects their mission: promoting gender equity, inclusivity, and participation in Canadian sports.
Their previous site limited engagement for diverse users, including those with accessibility needs, and didn’t fully support partnership-building, tailored resources, or online donations.
Their goals included:
- Expanding engagement opportunities for Canadians of all abilities
- Promoting gender equity through partnerships with sports organizations
- Provideing tailored resources for different audiences
- Streamlining donations and financial contributions
- Delivering an accessible, bilingual, and user-friendly experience
The existing website didn’t fully support these ambitions. To connect with Canadians effectively, the platform needed to be accessible, user-friendly, and welcoming to all visitors.
